In this picture I've already finished with the filling of the holes where the 1/4-20 SS bolts are
passing through the cap with the epoxy. I used JB Weld to seal the bottom of the hole and before
the JB Weld finished hardening I then mixed up some more and finished filling the holes. I then put
on a SS washer over the filled hole and then lightly tightened a nut down holding the washer in
place. It might make this job easier to partially drill the hole larger than the 1/2 inch on the
outside end making it easier to poke the JB Weld down into the hole. The JB Weld will hold all into
place and seal the holes air-tight. Just remember to make sure all is aligned and square before the
JB Weld hardens. I made sure of my alignment and this cap screwed into place very easily once the
JB Weld was set with the plates inside the assembly. Also, it would be a great idea to tape off the
exposed portion of the 1/4 inch SS bolts to prevent getting JB Weld on them before you begin to add
any JB Weld. Otherwise you won't be able to put on the wing nuts that will hold the power leads
into place if the threads wind up with hardened JB Weld in them.
