Picture 10
Another view of the electrode assembly. I've notched the corners so I can run SS bolts through connecting only the outside plates to the positive power lead. The center two plates are both negative while the rest are neutral separator plates. Here is the configuration with + being positive, - being negative and N representing the neutral separator plates not connected to any power what-so-ever: +NNNN--NNNN+ (12 SS Plates total). The 10-32 SS bolt you see jutting out from the plates only connect to the two outside or + (positive) plates missing the other plates because of the corners being clipped. The center - (negative) two plates are bolted together with a very short 10-32 SS bolt on the opposite corner from the middle. Just like with the positive plates the 10-32 SS bolts that hold them together also hold the bent SS piece that is drilled to hold the 1/4-20 SS bolts that will hold be the electrical connections through the cap through the holes drilled through the PVC and epoxy. Of course, all of the bolts and plates not part of the electrodes themselves will have to be wrapped somehow to prevent leakage that will drop the efficiency of this unit.
