In this picture the unit is turned around showing the fill side. The fill tube is connected to the shut off valve and has a funnel attached. This way I can just open the valve and pour distilled water into the unit while watching the clear tube on the other side to see how full it is. Hopefully this will make it easy to top off from time to time.
