Another closer view of the plates showing the bolts on each end of the plates. I used rubber washers on both sides of the bolts, inside and outside, to prevent leaking. I tightened the backing nuts against the plates for a good electrical connection and to make sure the plates stay in place. This unit will be bouncing down the road in a car so I don't want anything to break or come apart.
